While we visited Florida, we checked out a couple of marinas, went fishing and spent a great day cruising around Charlotte Harbor. We really like the area and all the great islands and places to anchor among the islands and mangroves. We did a bit of exploring from the Burnt Store Marina around Pine Island, Bokeelia, Cabbage Key and many other great places including a wonderful little island that we beached the boat on. We had a nice swim and everyone really enjoyed it.
